Projects and Partnerships

The Town has partnered with housing providers, developers and builders to support the creation of new affordable housing units in our community. The Town continues to be open to exploring opportunities to collaborate with partners to ensure a diverse range of housing options are available in the community. Learn more about projects currently underway below.

Incentives to Get Housing Built

The Town has implemented financial incentives to support the creation of diverse and affordable housing options in Okotoks.

Infrastructure Investments

Limited water supply has been a barrier to achieving diverse and affordable housing opportunities and has artificially inflated the cost of housing in Okotoks. To address and remove this barrier the Town has partnered with Foothills County to construct a new supplemental water supply to support long-term growth in Okotoks.
