We're offering Grade 5 & 8 students in Okotoks the opportunity to feel empowered, healthy and energized! Eligible students, this program is just for you to help you be fit while having fun! The Okotoks Recreation Centre team has put together a wide variety of fun activities to help motivate you and get you moving. There's loads to do at the Okotoks Recreation Centre! This cool program offers fun, FREE ways to learn and experience all the activities at the Recreation Centre, including the fitness centre*, swimming and basketball to keep active for life. 

*To participate in the program your child must be a resident of the Town of Okotoks or Foothills County attending a school in Okotoks or the region. Active8 participants only are eligible for the fitness centre. 

How to Apply

Complete the Waiver Form now to access all drop in activities at the Okotoks Recreation Centre today. Waiver forms for the 2025/2026 school year can be filled out starting Aug. 15, 2025. 

*Please note, students who are entering Grade 5 or Grade 8 in September 2025 will not be issued passes until August 15, 2025. These passes are eligible for use on September 1, 2025. 

Current Passes 

Current passes for students who are enrolled in Grade 5 and Grade 8 for the 2024/25 school year are valid throughout the summer. They expire on August 31, 2025.

Spring into Summer with this all-facility pass! Embrace the season with 100 days of unlimited access to all of our drop-in activities. Whether you're looking to dive into drop-in lane swim or energize your routine with drop-in or group fitness, this pass has you covered. Valid May 15 to August 23, 2025.

This trial pass is available for first-time visitors to try everything the Okotoks Recreation Centre has to offer! This one-time pass includes access to the Natural High Fitness Centre, drop-in fitness classes, swimming pools, hot tub, dry sauna, drop-in skating, and drop-in gymnasium times.

• Valid from December 15, 2025 to January 4, 2026. 
• Available for purchase on November 1, 2025 for individuals ages 12 and up.

• Get 10 coupons for $5
• Coupons are valid for one-day admission at the Recreation Centre for children ages 11 and under.
• Coupons must be used between February 14 and Easter Monday. 
• Coupons are available for purchase from January 21 to February 13 at the Recreation Centre. *Available while supplies last. 

If a program is full, express your interest by putting your name on the waitlist. New classes may be added based on waitlist numbers. You will be contacted if a space becomes available or an additional class is scheduled. 

All classes/courses are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. We will notify you once a cancellation decision has been made. If the Town of Okotoks cancels a program, you are entitled to a full refund or you may register for another program, space permitting. 

If you withdraw from a class/course at least seven days before the start date, a 10% cancellation fee, per registration, will be applied to your refund or credit. No credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than seven days from the start date or after a program starts, except for medical reasons (physician's note required). Withdrawal from programs for medical reasons will be effective from the date of the note and must be received by the Customer Experience team prior to the program end date.  

If a course cancellation, withdrawal or transfer results in a credit, the credit can be refunded. Credits can also be applied towards another Town activity or transferred to an Okotoks Recreation Centre/Okotoks Art Gallery gift card. Credits expire one year from the date that the card was issued. For credits over $50, we will make every effort to contact you prior to the expiration but any unclaimed credits will be cleared to zero from your account. Unused credits under $50 will automatically be cleared to zero from your account upon expiry. 

Promotional, 1-month and 10x All Facility Passes cannot be canceled or refunded. Annual All-Facility Passes may be considered for cancellation and/or refund pending medical or relocation reasons and offered at a prorated fee. A medical note or documentation providing proof of relocation and Facility Pass Withdrawal Form must be completed to request the cancellation. 

Continuous All-Facility pass cancellation requests must be submitted on or before the 15th of the month and will be effective on the 1st of the following month. 

To purchase a Monthly or Annual Pass, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account. We recommend that you select the main contact name if this is your first time logging in.
2. If you are new to the Town of Okotoks and/or have not registered for a program or lesson, rented a facility, or purchased a facility pass, please select Create Account.
3. Select Home, Programs, and/or go directly back to Purchase an All Facility Pass.
4. Select the Create New Contract (if this is your first time purchasing a pass online) or Use Existing Contract if this is a pass re-newal.
5. Confirm Start Date or change the date to a date after your current pass expires.
6. Confirm the Contract User (who you are purchasing a pass for).
7. Select Update Price.
8. Confirm that the Price Results and Contract Summary is correct and select Add to Cart.
9. If you would like to add additional passes to your cart, please select Continue Shopping and repeat steps. If you are satisfied with you purchases, please proceed to Checkout.
10. Annual passes must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

• If you are a student, which includes youth 18+ years attending post secondary, please call or visit Recreation Customer Experience to purchase your pass.
