2025 Call for Artists
Stampede and Winter Holiday Window Murals
We’re looking for talented individuals or artist teams to design and paint two window murals, helping to transform the Okotoks Municipal Centre into a vibrant and joyful space! If you’re ready to share your creativity and help brighten up our community, we’d love to hear from you!
One or two artists or groups will be selected to complete the murals. One will be an open-themed design celebrating the Stampede and our line-up of summer events, and the other will be a winter holiday mural inspired by Whoville from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, featuring vibrant colours, playful characters, and a festive atmosphere.
Each mural will be awarded $3,000, inclusive of paint, materials, and installation. The Stampede/Summer mural will be completed June 24–28, 2025, and the Winter Holiday/Whoville mural November 4–8, 2025. Work must take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, with materials allowed to be stored on site. See requirements and learn more!
