Summer day camps run July through August, providing high-quality programming that is engaging, fun, energetic, and designed to foster growth for children ages 4 to 15. Camps will focus on their general theme each day while also engaging in other fun activities such as art, games, and physical activity both indoors and outdoors!
All camps, unless otherwise specified, run from 9 AM to 4 PM. Before & After Care is also available (for an additional fee) for camps held at the Okotoks Recreation Centre from 7 - 9 AM and 4 - 6 PM.
Camp Reminders
- Registration closes at 12 p.m. on the Wednesday prior.
- A Day Camp Emergency Information and Waiver of Liability Form must be completed for each child prior to attending their first day of camp.
- Drop‑off & Pick‑up:
- Okotoks Recreation Centre: Enter via red doors on the north side of the Curling Rink.
- Viking Rentals Centre. Enter via the main doors to the Events Hall.
- Before and After Care will be in the Curling Rink Lobby. Enter via red doors on the north side of the Curling Rink.
- All campers at the Okotoks Recreation Centre will swim on Tuesday and Thursday - please remember to bring a bathing suit and towel.
- All registered Playmaker and All-Star campers will go on an off-site field trip each Friday using commercial busing. Locations include regional outdoor pools, adventure parks, and movie theatres.
- All children registered in camps must be fully toilet trained.
What To Bring
- Hats, sunscreen, bug spray Water bottle, and a nut-free lunch/snacks.
- Bathing suit and towel for Tuesdays and Thursdays (Okotoks Rec Centre campers), and every day for water-based camps.
- Dress for the weather - rain or sunshine, campers will be outside!
- Wear appropriate footwear, runners are best so all campers can keep up!
- Please do not send toys from home unless otherwise advised.
