The Okotoks School Age Care (OSAC) program is designed to support full-time and part-time working families who require quality care for their school-aged children in Kindergarten through Grade 6.
As a licensed child care program, OSAC provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can build friendships, develop new skills, and enjoy engaging activities while their parents/ guardians complete their workday. Our trained and caring staff supervise a variety of before and after school activities, ensuring children feel supported and encouraged every day.
Children stay active through our walking transportation program to and from school and participate in a wide range of activities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Sports and physical activities
- Indoor and outdoor games
- Nature and outdoor exploration
- Sensory experiences
- Special themed projects and activities
Kindergarten Care
OSAC also welcomes children enrolled in part-time Kindergarten at:
- Percy Pegler School
- Dr. Morris Gibson School
- Good Shepherd School
When not in school, children are based at the Okotoks Recreation Centre, where they participate in a variety of enriching activities, including swimming, skating, creative play, and recreational programming.
Our goal is to provide a high-quality early childhood environment that is safe, nurturing, and engaging. We encourage children to develop independence, confidence, social skills, and a positive sense of self while having fun and making meaningful connections with their peers.
Children must be enrolled in kindergarten to participate in the Kindergarten Care program.
