The following outlines the steps for applying for FCSS funding:
Submit Your Application: Complete the current year’s FCSS funding application and submit all required documents through the Contact Us form
Confirmation: Applicants will receive confirmation that the application has been received.
Eligibility Review: All applications will be reviewed to ensure they meet FCSS eligibility criteria. If clarification is needed, staff will contact the applicant before forwarding the application to the FCSS Committee. Once eligibility is confirmed, an email will be sent to organizations to book a funding presentation time with the FCSS Committee.
Funding Presentations: Applicants requesting over $2000 will present to the FCSS Committee on January 13/14, 2026.
Funding Decisions: The FCSS Committee makes funding decisions following presentations.
Follow-Up Meetings: A follow up meeting will be scheduled with each successful applicant to discuss outcome reporting requirements.
Fall Check–In: A check-in meeting will be scheduled in Fall 2026 with each successful applicant to:
- Review program progress
- Discuss trends and reporting
- Answer any questions related to funding or outcomes
