Ways to Pay Property Taxes
Property taxes due June 30, 2023
2023 Town Tax Notices were mailed and/or emailed out on May 23, 2023 and all assessed property owners are deemed to have received their Tax Notice.
Pay your taxes monthly by automatic bank withdrawals or post-dated cheques using TIPP.Â
Place your payment (cheque or money order) and the bottom portion of the notice in an envelope, add postage and mail to:Â

* The envelope must be clearly postmarked by Canada Post on or before the payment due date.Â
Place your payment (cheque or money order) and the bottom portion of the tax notice in an envelope and drop your payment off in the night deposit box located at the front doors of the Okotoks Municipal Centre, #5 Elizabeth Street.
Give your payment (cheque, money order, debit card, or cash) along with your tax notice to one of the cashiers at the Okotoks Municipal Centre.
Okotoks Municipal Centre
Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.  Closed on statutory holidays.  The Okotoks Municipal Centre is open through the lunch hour.ÂSave time. Pay your tax notice and other bills while banking.  *Payment must be received by the Town on or before the payment due date.Â
- Even if you do not bank at TD Canada Trust (Official Town Bank) you can still pay in person to have payment processed immediately upon transaction. Payment can be made through most major banks or credit unions but the payment may not be processed for 5-7 days.
Virtual Town Hall
If you are a member of a financial institute and obtain special permission from them, you may be able pay your property tax by using the online banking services. Depending on your financial institute please be aware this method of payment may require up to 7 days of processing.  Â
