Regional Tariff Response Initiative

The Government of Canada has launched the Regional Tariff Response Initiative to help small and medium-sized enterprises strengthen their competitiveness and adapt to changing trade conditions.

This $1 billion initiative supports businesses in:
• diversifying markets and creating new export revenue streams
• adopting innovative technologies to increase productivity and competitiveness
• building more resilient and sustainable supply chains

The program is open to applications until December 31, 2027, or until funding is fully allocated. All projects must be completed by March 31, 2028.
