• Benefits of Okotech

  The program directly supports a minimum of six startups (through an application process), while opening events and learning opportunities to the broader tech and innovation community in Okotoks and the region. Okotech is delivered in partnership with the Town of Okotoks and Community Futures Highwood and funded in part through the Government of Alberta’s Northern and Regional Economic Development Program.

   

• Who Should Apply

  Okotech looks to support entrepreneurs who have established their business in Okotoks or the surrounding region, excluding Calgary. The ideal candidate has an established and proven business idea but requires additional support to help their business grow. Applications are now open for the first Okotech cohort.

  Spots in the incubator are limited. Applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis.

  Events are designed to create meaningful connections by offering opportunities for networking and learning. They are open to both OkoTech participants and the broader community, with content and formats that appeal to the curious—whether they’re exploring new ideas, industries, or innovations.
