Month of the Artist

September is the Month of the Artist!

The province of Alberta, as well as Okotoks Town Council, have officially dedicated the month of September to celebrating the arts, and the value it brings to our communities, both socially and economically. You can join in the celebration with a wide range of visual, musical and theatrical offerings this month in Okotoks.

The Month of the Artist gives Okotokians the chance to celebrate artists in our community and works to increases recognition of the need for artists to be equitably compensated for the creation and use of their artistic works.
