We are getting ready to make some important changes to enhance the Town's pathway and sidewalk system. We are committed to making the changes needed to increase safety, accessibility and connectivity to provide citizens with the best possible user experience.
Approximately 30 improvement projects have been identified that will address missing links and upgrade infrastructure elements. Your feedback is important to help us better understand the needs of the community and how we can improve the system’s safety, accessibility and connectivity. The information we receive will help us draft an Active Transportation Implementation Plan to organize this important work.
As the individuals that use the pathways and sidewalks every day, your input matters! Please join us at the upcoming public open house to share your thoughts: Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the foyer/lobby area of the Okotoks Recreation Centre, 99 Okotoks Drive.
