Intertwined by a love for music and a passion for live performance, The Back Forty is a dynamic quartet that seamlessly blends their individual musical prowess into a captivating sonic experience. Hailing from the town of Okotoks, nestled near the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains in Southern Alberta, this group of accomplished and diverse musicians is making waves in the ever-expanding music scene.
The Back Forty draws inspiration from their roots in traditional rock, country, and blues, creating a sound that defies easy categorization. Their music is a thoughtful yet authentic journey that reflects the collaborative talents of its members. Lead vocalist and songwriter, Jesse Cole Taylor, along with the multi-talented musician and vocalist Greg Niebergall, founded the band in 2018, setting the stage for an innovative musical venture.
"Thursday Nights at the Plaza" is a family-friendly musical event series from 7 to 9 pm, featuring a diverse lineup of performers and entertainers!
