Fire Prevention Week is nearly here! The Town of Okotoks is excited to invite you to take part in their Sing Out Fire Safety event with Juno Award Nominee, Mary Lambert, at the Foothills Centennial Centre. This performance uses dance, costumes, music and more to teach kids the importance of fire safety and is geared towards pre-school aged kids.
Space is limited, so please sign up early – registration is free! Please note, bookings for individual school tours of our fire station are limited this fall, so this is a great opportunity to partake in an in-person safety lesson with Okotoks Fire & Rescue.
About the Performer
Juno Award Nominee, Mary Lambert, is a family singer/songwriter/performer, author, and an outstanding Canadian artist in the children's entertainment field. Her two Juno nominations and fifteen awards from the United States are a remarkable testimony to her talent and artistry. Her wonderful voice and colourful performances are filled with infectious music, energy and involves lots of audience participation. Since 1993, Mary has toured and performed well over 3,500 shows at elementary schools, libraries, daycares, music festivals and family-focused events throughout Canada.
