On July 25, 2024, the Town's Development Officer approved Development Permit Application DP2024-0161 for a Change of Use - Education , a discretionary use in the Traditional Neighbourhood District (TN), at 83 Suntree Lane with variance to the following section of Land Use Bylaw 17-21:

On July 25, 2024, the Town's Development Officer approved Development Permit Application DP2024-0143 for a Restaurant / Café & Signage, a permitted use in the Downtown District (D), at 82 Elma Street West with a variance to the following section of Land Use Bylaw 17-21:

On July 10, 2024, the Town's Development Officer approved Development Permit Application #2024-0140 for a Change of Use from "Office" to "Education", a discretionary use in the Industrial Business Park (IBP), at #105, 116 Southbank Boulevard.

• Section 3.6.H.2. [Private Roads and Driveways] to permit a Driveway width of 7.27m where the maximum width permitted is 5.62m, a variance of 1.65m. 

An Accessory Building (Garage) in the Traditional Neighbourhood District (TN) with the following variance:

• Section 3.6.E.b. [Rear Yard – Accessory Buildings] to permit a rear yard setback of 0.22m where the minimum required is 1.0m, a variance of 0.78m.

• Section 3.6.E.b [Interior Side Yard – Primary Building] To permit a side yard setback of 0.84m where the minimum required is 1.20m, a variance of 0.36m.
