Funding Opportunities

The following outlines the steps for applying for FCSS funding:

• Submit Your Application: Complete the current year’s FCSS funding application and submit all required documents through the Contact Us form
• Confirmation and Presentation Booking: Applicants will receive confirmation that the application has been received and instructions to book a funding presentation with the FCSS Committee. 
  • Requests under $2,000 are not required to present
  • All applicants will also be asked to book a funding follow up meeting for the week following the FCSS Committee’s funding decisions.  
• Eligibility Review: All applications will be reviewed to ensure they meet FCSS eligibility criteria. If clarification is needed, staff will contact the applicant before forwarding the application to the FCSS Committee.  
• Funding Presentations: Applicants requesting over $2000 will present to the FCSS Committee on January 13/14, 2026.  
• Funding Decisions: The FCSS Committee makes funding decisions following presentations. 
• Follow-Up Meetings: Staff will meet with applicants the week following presentations to:
  • Share feedback from the FCSS Committee
  • Discuss outcome reporting requirements for successful applicants 
• Fall Check–In: A check-in meeting will be scheduled in Fall 2026 with each successful applicant to:
  • Review program progress
  • Discuss trends and reporting
  • Answer any questions related to funding or outcomes

To support organizations in successfully navigating the funding process, we are hosting a workshop that will walk you through key updates, provide clarity on the application requirements, and offer a chance to ask specific questions about your submission.
