Joanna is the Community Hubs Coordinator at The Alex Community Food Centre and the Community Engagement Coordinator with The Calgary Horticultural Society. Along with her deeply rooted passion for promoting green spaces across Calgary’s diverse communities, she is also an avid gardener and landscape designer & consultant. Joanna owns and operates Inhabit Landscape Design & Consultation, which specializes in incorporating food plants and drought-tolerant plants into residential and community landscapes. Her work keeps her in close relationship with the land where she finds joy in helping others create gardens that thrive in southern Alberta’s ever-changing and unique climate.
