We will be joined by Dr. Ana Maria Olschig to discuss Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) and important end-of-life care information that empowers patients to access supportive, sensitive and compassionate care. This empathic and sensitive session will approach information about end of life decisions and care with grace, dignity and compassion answering questions about how the program works, who can access it and how to navigate this important discussion with your care team.
The Age-Friendly Speaker Series is a partnership with the Okotoks Public Library to share information on topics relevant to healthy aging and to learn about the resources and supports that are available locally.
