Join members of Foothills County Hospice for an overview of the care the hospice provides, and the compassionate support it offers to individuals and families. Learn about available services, when hospice care may be appropriate, and how it focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This session will also include information on how to get involved with Hospice if you are interested in volunteering with them. Foothills County staff present for this session include the volunteer services coordinator, Bonnie Palmer, the program coordinator, Sharon Knapp and the lead social worker, Allison Campbell.
The Age-Friendly Speaker Series is a partnership with the Okotoks Public Library to share information on topics relevant to healthy aging and to learn about the resources and supports that are available locally.
