Big Rock Trail from Westland Street to Sheep River Boulevard lane closure heading westbound.
Type of Work
Alpine Utility Traffic Services has been contracted by Fortis to install new streetlights along Big Rock Trail. To accommodate this work, westbound traffic needs to be detoured so that they can install two lights in the center median as part of Tillotson subdivision phase one.
Schedule
- Friday, October 24, 2025 from 8 am to 5 pm.
Impacts
- The westbound lane on Big Rock Trail from Westland St to Sheep River Blvd will be closed. Eastbound lane will not be affected.
- There will be no impact on residents' access as a result of the construction work.
What To Expect
- Construction crews, equipment and noise during working hours.
- Traffic signage, cones and traffic personnel directing/detouring the westbound lane.
Why This Work Is Happening
To install new streetlights in the center median of Big Rock Trail as part of Tillotson subdivision phase one.
