Kids aged 8 -12 have the greatest imaginations so let's unleash their creativity into an entire week of artistic fantasy? With thousands upon thousands of ways to express themselves through painting, sculpture, upcycling, felting, fabric art, graphic design and drawing - their minds will be blown! MIXED MEDIA FUN!
~~About the event~~
When you really think about art, ANYTHING is possible, but when you throw a fantastical theme into the mix with a dragon-loving art teacher-- art projects seriously know no bounds! We will create some truly astonishing masterpieces using a myriad of materials! Maybe a faux-dragon skin art bag will come home with them one day... or perhaps a collapsible artwork-carrying structure, or a giant painting of an unknown galaxy where unicorns exist? How about beaded and shell bracelets inspired by mermaids? Cosplay wings with feathers? Boy o boy, the ideas just never stop coming!
-Camp will start at 10:00 and run until 4:00pm with a snack and lunch break woven in between
-ALL art camp projects from The Inspiration Studio Academy of Fine Art ARE TAILORED to the registered students!
-Please send a snack or two, a water bottle and a hearty lunch with them, when they arrive.
-All supplies will be included and each art camper will have an art apron to protect MOST of their clothes -- just don't let them wear their favourites!
-If the weather is truly kind to us, we will do at least one messy project outdoors and we will even host a mini art show in the backyard during the last hour on Friday afternoon:)
