  As the holiday season approaches, Economic Development, in partnership with the Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce, is excited to announce our festive and community-driven shop local promotion, our-first ever Reindeer Games contest, and we would love for your business to participate! The contest will run November 21-December 12. Those who participate will be highlighted on the contest webpage and on Economic Development and the Chamber's social media channels.

  The Reindeer Games contest is a fun and festive way to encourage and promote local shopping, bring our community together while sharing in the joy of the holiday spirit! This contest not only provides an opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services but is also a unique way to connect with customers and create a memorable experiences for everyone who participates.

• Qualifying Purchases

  All receipts from locally owned and operated Okotoks businesses during the contest period qualify, including retail shops, meals, services, memberships and online purchases. There is a minimum purchase amount of $10. Large box store purchases are not eligible.

• Prizes, Draw Dates & Winners!

  4 x individual prizes of a $250 gift cards from a local Okotoks businesses will be drawn throughout the months of November and December. See below for information on draw dates.

  1 x Grand Prize of a $500 gift card from a local Okotoks businesses.

  Draw Dates:

  Draw #1: November 24 (special Light Up draw) for a $250 gift card for a local business of your choice. WINNER: 

  Draw #2: November 28 for a $250 gift card for a local business of your choice. WINNER: 

  Draw #3:  December 5 for a $250 gift card for a local business of your choice. WINNER: 

  Draw #4: December 12 for a $250 gift card for al local business of your choice. WINNER: 

  Draw #5: December 12 for a $500 gift card from local businesses WINNER: 

  Weekly winners will be randomly selected and notified within 24 hours of each draw. Prizes must be picked up by December 19, 2025 at 4pm at the Town of Okotoks Municipal Centre, 5 Elizabeth Street.
