The Christmas Light Tour holiday tradition is back for residents to have the opportunity to show off their home's festive light displays! Winners have been decided and the star map is now available!

The Town is bringing back the Christmas Light Tour holiday tradition where residents have an opportunity to show off their home's festive light displays!
Date Extended! December 6, 2023 to December 15, 2023, we are accepting photo entries that capture the beauty and originality of Christmas light displays of Okotoks homes! A maximum of 25 homes will be profiled, so make sure you secure your spot by sending your photo in early!
If your home is selected as one of the "Stars", your home will be featured here on the Okotoks website, and the Town's Facebook page... and will obviously be a star on the map! Judging will take place on December 17, 2023.
There will be three winners selected and they will each receive a prize.
Prizes will be awarded to the top entry in the following categories:
1) Elf's Choice 2) Less is More 3) Clark Griswold Award.
Rules:
- Submissions will be accepted until Midnight, December 13, 2023, MST
- Lights need to be on by 6pm, December 17, 2023, MST
- Photos must be taken in the Okotoks area
- There is no limit on the number of submissions by a single entrant
- Participation in the Contest constitutes Entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations, and the final decisions in all matters related to the contest.
- Photos must be high resolution (2-25MB). A high-resolution, colour (RGB) version of each photo must be submitted (uncompressed TIFF or maximum quality JPEG).
