Garbage, Organics and Recycling Carts
- Standard cart sizes provided to residential households include a 120L black garbage cart, 240L blue recycling cart and a 120L green organics cart.
- For new home builds, filling out the above utility form will also generate an automated request for garbage, organics and recycling carts.
- For existing homes, garbage, organics and recycling carts should have been left behind by the previous owner. If any of your carts are missing or you would like to change your cart size, please complete the Garbage, Organics and Recycling form.
A remote for reading your water meter is or will be attached to the outside of your home. This small black remote is usually located next to the electrical or gas meter. A clear path to this remote is essential. Please maintain this path by clearing snow and removing such items as hoses and toys.
Residential development in Okotoks primarily consists of new and recent housing developments in variety of neighbourhoods around the town. One can also find older, more established areas near the downtown core. There is a great number of options if you are looking to buy or rent property.
