The Alberta Badlands have long been one of the richest dinosaur-producing areas in the world, with about 60-70 different types of dinosaurs that have been found in Alberta. Today's Nature Friday is all about these prehistoric creatures and other fossils!
Here's what we've got going on this week:
| CREATE | Create your very own dinosaur out of cardboard and paper! |
| WATCH & LEARN | Educational videos from the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller! |
| EXPLORE | Join us and learn about some of the largest animals that ever roamed the earth! |
Please note: parents must stay with their children while they are in the education centre.
Hours: the Environmental Education Centre is open Monday to Friday to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM. Fridays a staff member will be on hand running activities, and will be available to chat with the public and answer questions.
