Musicians, actors, magicians, jugglers, street performers, dancers, b-boys, singers & entertainers of all ages and acts will spread out on McRae and North Railway Streets for this fun street festival. It’s all free - if you like what you hear, show your appreciation for the performances with a loonie, toonie, or fiver - and don’t forget the applause!
Plus, shop at the local downtown stores, as well as at the MarketSquare Artisan Street Market.
New this year, we will also have:
- Book readings at the Plaza (at the corner of North Railway & McRae Street) from our friends at Yooneek Books – listen to some excerpts from popular books in between busker acts.
- Children’s play areas – Join us in the space at McRae Street and Clark Avenue to play some larger versions of classic games like Jenga with your littles (note, this area is unsupervised). There will be additional children's games available at the Okotoks Art Gallery.
Please note: This event will require road closures of McRae Street and North Railway Street from Veterans Way to Daggett Street from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday, June 25.
