Canada Day Celebration

Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 11:00am to 4:00pm

Join us for a Canada Day celebration featuring multicultural entertainment and food, a mobile obstacle course, games, entertainment and more from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. outside of the Okotoks Recreation Centre in ball diamond #10.

In addition to all the events happening outside the Rec Centre, there are also three free swims taking place at the Recreation Centre. You can find the schedule HERE!

BBQ Fundraiser

There will be a BBQ starting at noon (continuing while supplies last) and lunch will be by donation. Proceeds from the BBQ will be donated to local charity

Fireworks

Fireworks will be held at approximately 10:30 p.m. (or within 15 minutes) at Bill Robertson Park (formerly Riverside Community Park), located at 1400 North Railway Street.

We are always looking for ways to support local businesses and groups in engaging with festival-goers! If you have an idea for a game, activity or contest that will amp up the fun meter, please reach out to us! We’re happy to support new and exciting ways to make connections during events

Sponsorship Package

We are pleased to announce we are opening up a new way to be a part of the action! New for 2024 is the “Activation Opportunity”; a way for businesses (outside the event zone), sports groups, and not-for-profit organizations to participate in Community Events. Promote your business or group and get your brand in front of thousands of festival attendees by being a part of the action. What better way to engage with a crowd then to draw them in with an activity!

Event Information!

Are you tired of driving around trying to find parking before a major community event? This year we are bringing back a bike valet! You can ride your bike to the event zone and park it at the bike valet free of charge. Volunteers will safely monitor your bike while you enjoy the event and you can pick it up when you're finished.
The Bike Valet will be located right in Wylie Athletic Park outside of the Recreation Centre. It will be open from 11:00am to 3:00pm and any bikes left at the valet after 3:00pm will be left unattended, and can be picked up by their owners at anytime.
