October 7 - November 9, weather dependent. Construction hours: Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm. Note: Some evening work may occur.
Impacts
Full road closure on Waldron Avenue between Robinson Drive and Visser Way; westbound traffic on Milligan Drive will be detoured to south lanes between Visser Way and Northridge Drive
Sidewalk closure on the east side of Robinson Drive at Waldron Avenue (between the Tennis Court access and Visser Way); pedestrian detours in place around the construction site
Okotoks Tennis Centre (Tower Hill) remains open to pedestrian access only via the north sidewalk on Waldron Avenue
Tennis court parking lot closed until November 14, 2025 – street parking available on adjacent roadways
What to Expect
Access to homes on Waldron Avenue will be maintained during construction
Traffic detours will be clearly marked; please follow all signage
Noise and activity in the area during construction hours
Why is this Work Happening?
To help improve Okotoks’ water system and support future growth, the Town is upgrading water mains and replacing aging infrastructure in portions of the Suntree and Tower Hill neighborhoods.
