As part of Emergency Preparedness Week (May 3–9, 2026), we’re inviting the whole community to come together for a fun and informative day focused on staying safe and prepared at our Emergency Preparedness Week Open House! This event will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arts and Learning Campus Plaza located at 7 Riverside Drive, Okotoks.
This year’s theme, “In It Together,” highlights the importance of community connections. When emergencies happen, we are stronger — and safer — when we’re prepared together.
Bring the family and join us on Saturday, May 2 for a community celebration featuring:
- Meet-and-greets with local emergency responders
- Hands-on preparedness tips and safety demonstrations
- Food trucks, games, and fun activities for all ages
- Helmet fittings with the Okotoks RCMP
- Life jacket fittings with our Okotoks Aquatics team
- Prizes, giveaways, and more!
Let’s learn, connect, and get prepared — together. We can’t wait to see you there!
