Help us explore the biodiversity of Okotoks with the 2026 Environment Week BioBlitz!! Share your observations of birds, mammals, insects, plants, and all other types of organisms between June 1st and 8th.
When you participate in the Town’s iNaturalist projects, you help to create data that will help the scientific community better understand and protect nature in Okotoks and all over Canada.
How to participate in the BioBlitz:
| Step 1 | Find a pollinator or local plant. Pollinators found in Okotoks include: bumble bees and other native/non-native bees, beetles, butterflies, flies, hummingbirds, moths and wasps. |

Take a photo of birds, mammals, insects, plants and other organisms. |
