Did you know the compost we're giving away comes straight from our curbside organics program? That means your food scraps and yard waste have been transformed into nutrient-rich compost—returning full circle to help nourish local yards and garden beds across our community!

    Join us at the NW area of the Okotoks Recreation Centre parking lot for a FREE Compost Giveaway! It's first come, first served, so swing by early so you don't miss out! 

    • Reminder to bring your own shovel and a pail to self-haul your free compost.
    • Quantities are limited, so we ask that you kindly leave some for your neighbours and only fill a few pails.
    • One pail at a time, limit to THREE containers per home
