Tune into this informative Speaker Series, where we will be joined by occupational therapist, Kristie Emms, for a discussion on the Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Equipment Programs, which provide funding for essential medical equipment and supplies to eligible Albertans with chronic, long-term, or terminal conditions, helping them live independently at home, with coverage for items like wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom aids, compression wear, and more. Kristie will also share information about Home Care Occupational and Physical Therapy.
The Age-Friendly Speaker Series is a partnership with the Okotoks Public Library to share information on topics relevant to healthy aging and to learn about the resources and supports that are available locally.
