Developer-led extension of the sanitary trunk main, installation of a new manhole and completion of underground water and sanitary sewer utility connections required to support the Ridgemont Phase 1 development.
Schedule
- Start Date: August 5, 2026
- End Date: September 30, 2026
- Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Impacts
- 32 Street and the intersection at Crystal Green Lane will remain open to traffic during construction.
- Traffic delays are expected, particularly during peak travel times.
- Reduced speeds will be in effect near the construction area.
- Traffic and pedestrian detours may remain in place 24 hours a day, as required, throughout construction.
- Access to properties along Crystal Green Lane will be maintained, with posted signage directing traffic via a gravel access road as needed.
- Digital message boards, traffic-control measures and construction signage will help guide motorists and pedestrians through the area.
- Direct driveway access for nearby residents is expected to remain available.
- Pedestrian detours are in place and clearly marked.

Why This Work is Happening
This work, managed by the developer, is required to extend the existing sanitary trunk main, install new utility infrastructure and connect the first phase of the Ridgemont subdivision to existing water, sanitary and storm sewer services.
