On July 6 and 7, 2026, throughout both days, Okotoks RCMP will be conducting scenario-based training at Westmount School.
As a result of this training, the public may notice an increased police presence around Westmount School as officers practice scenarios that simulate high stress situations with active threats.
During these scenarios, officers will be using sim-unition, which sounds like gunfire. There is no risk to the public with this training equipment.
