The community is invited to join us for the grand opening of an exciting new water feature at the Arts and Learning Campus Plaza on Wednesday, July 23 at 5 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of this new water feature and enhance this dynamic community space where people of all ages can gather, play and connect,” said Town of Okotoks director of parks and recreation, Christa Michailuck. “This wonderful investment in our community reflects our commitment to creating recreational opportunities for our community to come together.”
Located beside the Okotoks Public Library on Riverside Drive, this new addition to Ethel Tucker Park brings visual interest to the Arts & Learning Campus and offers a refreshing spot to cool off this summer. While you’re there, enjoy the beautiful river valley, explore the downtown core, and take in the nearby amenities and events that make this area such a vibrant community hub.
Weather dependent, the water feature will remain open until September long weekend and will have an accessible washroom and water fountain available on site.
This exciting project was made possible through a generous donation from a local family, whose contribution has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. The name of the family will be formally announced during the grand opening celebration in recognition of their lasting impact and community spirit.
