The public is invited to attend and watch as Council deliberates the budget for 2025 on Tuesday, November 19. The meeting starts at 8 a.m.
This budget aligns with community feedback to maintain service levels and consider investments in local business. The priority for the 2025 budget is to maintain the status quo for most services, while making several service level adjustments that will save residents and businesses money. The Council agenda will be available online the evening of November 14 at the link below if you wish to preview the budgetary items coming forward for review.
The community is invited to watch the budget meeting in-person at the Municipal Centre in Council Chamber at 5 Elizabeth Street. The meetings can also be watched online through visiting the link below.
Budget Engagement
From May 24 to June 9 2024 community members were encouraged to share their thoughts on Town service levels to help Council understand what the community feels are the most important services to focus on the 2025 budget. This feedback was used to help Council and Administration determine whether any service level adjustments are required for the 2025 budget.
