Mark your calendars: Live music is coming back to Seaman Stadium

Fans at Seaman Stadium cheer during a concert

The Town of Okotoks and the Okotoks Dawgs are joining forces for the second annual end-of-summer concert on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Headlining this year’s event is Fleetwood Magic, a renowned Fleetwood Mac tribute band, along with local supporting acts, Brettyn Rose and Girl Crush.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with the Dawgs once again to bring live music to Seaman Stadium,” said Mayor Tanya Thorn. “It’s such a great way to celebrate community spirit, enjoy one of our most loved venues, and create a fun, memorable night for both residents and visitors.”

Fleetwood Magic’s spot-on vocals, authentic sound and vintage style capture the spirit of Fleetwood Mac for fans of every generation. Their performance promises a nostalgic journey through the band’s greatest hits, spanning from the 60’s to the 80’s.

“It’s an exciting lineup, to say the least,” says Dawgs concert coordinator, Jim Wildeman. “We’re starting the evening with local up-and-coming singing sensation Brettyn Rose, followed by the high-energy band Girl Crush, and capping the night off with one of the hottest bands in Vancouver, Fleetwood Magic. We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s lineup to Seaman Stadium.”

Supporting acts include local country artist and Dawg’s anthem singer, Brettyn Rose, and Calgary-based female cover band, Girl Crush, who’s repertoire includes the likes of ABBA, ZZ Top and more.

“We’re excited to partner with the Town and welcome the community back to Seaman Stadium for another unforgettable night of music and celebration,” says Okotoks Dawgs Manager, Tyler Hollick. “This concert is a great way to cap off the ball season and thank our fans for their incredible support all summer.”

Concert tickets are available at Seaman Stadium or online at tickets.dawgsbaseball.ca. Guests are encouraged to purchase early to secure their spot at this signature Okotoks event.

The concert will coincide with the Town’s Summer Round Up event and chili cook-off, taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a full day of music, food, and community celebration.
