The end-of-summer celebrations are heading back to Seaman Stadium as the Town of Okotoks and the Okotoks Dawgs proudly announce the third annual stadium concert on Saturday, August 29. This year’s highly anticipated headliner is Centerfield, the ultimate tribute to the music of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), with returning fan-favourite Girl Crush and Okotoks Got Talent winner, Amelia Paquette kicking off the night.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Dawgs for a third year to bring live music back to Seaman Stadium,” shares Okotoks Mayor Tanya Thorn. “This concert series has quickly become a beloved summer tradition, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors to gather and enjoy an unforgettable night of music in a spectacular outdoor venue.”
Taking the stage as the evening’s main act, Centerfield, starring Dan Hare, is the premier tribute to John Fogerty and CCR. They authentically recreate the timeless classics and solo hits that defined a generation. Capturing “the look, the voice and the hits,” their performance promises a nostalgic, high-energy journey through legendary rock anthems such as Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising and Fortunate Son.
Opening the night is local country singer-songwriter and winner of the United Way 2025 Okotoks Got Talent, Amelia Paquette, followed by the high-energy, Calgary-based all-female cover band Girl Crush!
Concert tickets are available online now. Guests are encouraged to purchase early to secure their spots for this signature summer event.
