Taste of Okotoks is back for its 13th year! This is your chance to sample the best flavours our local food scene has to offer! From sweet treats to savoury eats, meat-heavy to meat-free, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Bring your appetite, explore a variety of dishes, and experience the tastiest event in Okotoks!

There will also be an artisan market, live stage entertainment, games in the park and more!

How it Works!

$1 = 1 ticket
Food vendors accept tickets like currency
There are three ticket booths on site, spaced throughout the event zone
Vendors cannot sell samples directly to you

It depends on how hungry you are and how many people want to sample! Samples range from 1–7 tickets. Here are some recommendations:
- 1 Adult “Full Belly” – 20 tickets
- 1 Adult “Snack Time” – 10 tickets
- 1 Family “Full Bellies” (2 adults, 2 young children) – 50–60 tickets
- 1 Family “Snack Time” (2 adults, 2 young children) – 25–30 tickets
If you have extra tickets, you can always take some items home to enjoy later!
- Pick up a “sample menu” at any of our three ticket booths.
- Samples range from 1–8 tickets.

Event Details

Want to be a part of the event? Volunteer!

You can ride your bike right down to the event zone and park it at the bike valet free of charge. Your bike will be safely monitored by volunteers while you enjoy the event and you can pick it up when you're finished.
The Bike Valet will be located in the event zone. It will be open from 11:00am to 4:00pm and any bikes left at the valet after 4:00pm will be left unattended, and can be picked up by their owners at anytime.

Artisan Market

Okotoks MarketSquare has been a cheerleader, event-organizer, and community hub for locally handmade businesses since 2011. MarketSquare organizes 6-10 local annual artisan markets, including the Heart of the Foothills Women's Showcase, Spring Fling Artisan Market, Summer Night Markets at Ethel Tucker Park, and the Okotoks Christmas Market. MarketSquare events are packed with talented makers, tasty food trucks, live entertainment, artist collabs, and feel-good connections with local non-profits. If it’s creative, local, and community-powered, you’ll find it at MarketSquare!

Looking for a way to boost your visibility & engage with the community? Consider registering to participate within the downtown core event zone and get your brand in front of thousands of festival attendees

Interested participants can purchase a 10x10 spot within select events in the downtown core throughout the year. These 10x10 spots are available to all Okotoks and local area businesses and organizations. If you have an idea for a game, activity or contest that will amp up the fun meter, let us know so we can help plan the best location for you to set up. Space is limited for event zone locations so registration is on a first-come first-served basis.
