Light Tour
Holiday Light Tour
Things you need to know:
The Town appreciates our residents and business owners’ holiday spirit and desire to brighten up the community with festive decorative lighting. However, did you know that attaching lights to your trees can cause permanent damage to them if not done correctly? Please avoid installing lights and decorations with nails or large staples as this can cause wounds and premature decay. Remember to remove lights or tie straps/string prior to the growing season to prevent constricting the trunk and branches. As a friendly reminder, decorating public trees with lights or other items is not permitted. Please call the Parks Horticulture Hotline at 403-995-6333 to inquire if a tree is public or private. Thank you for your cooperation!
