New Route, Same Magical Parade!
We’re shaking things up this year! While the spirit of the parade remains the same, the path we take is moving to a brand-new location. Due to downtown revitalization and construction, we’re moving the celebration to ensure a safe, spacious experience for everyone! Make sure to check the map before you grab your lawn chairs so you don't miss a single float.
What's New?
- The parade will travel along Milligan Drive, starting at Veterans Way and proceeding eastbound toward Crystal Ridge Drive. See the Map!
- It will begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp to accommodate the full day’s schedule and reduce conflicts with other scheduled events.
- Planning is underway to support a smooth and safe experience for residents and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
- Horse applications are paused for 2026; we look forward to their return in 2027.
- The Children's Festival will start at 11 a.m. It will be relocated to the fields outside the Okotoks Recreation Centre to be closer to the parade route.
