Spray Park & Water Feature

On February 27, 2023, Town Council approved $500,000 in capital budget be used for the design and construction of a water feature to be located within the existing Arts and Learning Campus plaza. The goal of the project is to provide a vibrant water feature available for children’s (and community) use and an interactive way to animate the plaza area.

This new addition to Ethel Tucker Park will opened to the public on July 23, 2025, and is the perfect spot to cool off this summer and entertain the kids for hours while enjoying the beautiful River Valley and Downtown core. There is an accessible washroom and a water fountain available on site.

The water feature works on a closed loop system, which means it's designed to recycle water by capturing, cleaning and re-using the water in the system.

The Okotoks spray park has been designed as a "Closed Loop" water recycling system. Water from the features is collected, filtered, disinfected and reused. Other than replacing the small amount lost due to evaporation and "splash out" this park recycles all its water. Because the water is in a closed system it is regulated by the same public health rules as a swimming pool. You can enjoy the park guilt and worry free!

• Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult
• No skateboards, rollerblades or bicycles allowed
