Ways to Pay Property Taxes

Property taxes are due June 30

Tax notices are out - check your mailbox or inbox to find yours. If you haven't received your tax notice by June 5, 2026, please contact our Tax Administrator to request a copy.

There are many ways to pay your property taxes in Okotoks.

Friendly Payment Reminders:

Taxes can not be paid by credit card or e-transfer
If you plan on paying by debit card in person at the Municipal Centre, you may need to increase your card spending limit before paying
Enrollment in the TIPP program must happen by the 22nd of each month
If you plan to pay through a bank or credit union, it can take up to 5 to 7 business days for processing.
You can easily add the Town as a Payee to pay your taxes online through your bank

Place your payment (cheque or money order) and the bottom portion of the notice in an envelope, add postage and mail to:

* The envelope must be clearly postmarked by Canada Post on or before the payment due date.
**In the event of mail delays or interruption, it’s your responsibility to make sure payments are made on-time through one of the other available payment methods.
Save time. Pay your tax notice and other bills while banking. *Payment must be received by the Town on or before the payment due date.
- Even if you do not bank at TD Canada Trust (Official Town Bank) you can still pay in person to have payment processed immediately upon transaction. Payment can be made through most major banks or credit unions but the payment may not be processed for 5-7 days.
