Keep these reminders in mind throughout the school year to keep yourself and the returning students safe!
- School zones are in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on school days and the speed limit is 30 km/h.
- Do not park in or block cross walks and intersections when dropping kids off. Please also avoid parking or stopping in school bus zones.
- Slow down and keep an eye out for kids in the area who may be exiting vehicles and crossing the street. Give yourself some extra time in the mornings and afternoons as it’s going to be increased traffic for the next few weeks.
- Do not pass school buses when their red lights are flashing. Passing another vehicle in a school or playground zone is also prohibited.
