Come experience the Town of Okotoks' second year of the Tipi Camp, located outside of our all-Indigenous Artisan Market from May 30 to June 1. The Tipi camp honours the Town's 2023 Tipi transfer and brings together important partners for conversation and ceremony. There will be fireside stories with Blackfoot Elders, a Pipe Ceremony, and an opportunity to shop more than 65 Indigenous artists and creators at the market.
The Indigenous Artisan Market & Tipi Camp are part of the Town’s commitment to advancing Truth and Reconciliation, and create opportunity to celebrate Indigenous culture, identity and art – just in time for National Indigenous People's History Month, which runs throughout June.
The Tipi Camp is free to attend, and food will be available for purchase outside of the Artisan Market. Find the full schedule of events at the link below.
