Come experience the Town of Okotoks' third year of the Tipi Camp, located outside of our all-Indigenous Artisan Market from May 29 to 31. The Tipi camp honours the Town's 2023 Tipi transfer and brings together important partners for conversation and ceremony. There will be Tipi Camp races for kids, an opportunity to shop 59 Indigenous artists and creators at the market and the chance to experience Indigenous culture and dance at the Powwow.
The Tipi Camp, All-Indigenous Artisan Market and Powwow are part of the Town’s commitment to advancing Truth and Reconciliation, and create opportunity to celebrate Indigenous culture, identity and art – just in time for National Indigenous People's History Month, which runs throughout June.
The Tipi Camp is free to attend, and food will be available for purchase outside of the Artisan Market. Find the full schedule of events at the link below.
