Okotoks residents and business owners are invited to share their feedback in an online survey about policing needs and trends in our community. The results will help inform the annual policing priorities for Okotoks Municipal Enforcement and the Okotoks Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

“Safety is a shared responsibility, and your input will help us identify safety priorities in our community,” said Vikram Kulkarni, municipal enforcement manager for the Town of Okotoks. “We encourage all Okotoks residents and business owners to take part.”

This survey is a follow up to the 2024 Public Safety Survey conducted last spring. Responses from 469 community members helped form the 2024 Municipal Enforcement priorities and RCMP Annual Performance Plan, which were approved at the regular council meeting on April 22, 2024.

“The public safety survey is a great opportunity for the Okotoks RCMP and Municipal Enforcement teams to hear from community members about safety concerns in their neighbourhoods,” said Mike Zinck, Detachment Commander for the Okotoks RCMP. “The results from this survey play an important role in developing our policing priorities for the upcoming year.”
