The Town of Okotoks is looking to build a dedicated youth space at the Okotoks Recreation Centre that makes youth feel safe and welcome. We want to hear from parents and guardians of youth ages 12-17 to generate ideas for a new Youth Centre.
Sept. 22 - Nov. 10, 2023: Engage youth through in-person engagement opportunities at Youth Night, in schools and at youth events.
Oct. 25 - Nov. 8: Engage Parents/Guardians through online survey
Dec. 11, 2023: Present findings to Council
Q1, 2024: Begin construction
Q1, 2024: Engage youth to provide input on Youth Centre colour scheme and furnishings
Q3, 2024: Complete construction
