Spring cleanup is in full swing! In accordance with Traffic Bylaw 37-24, sections 4.20, 4.21, and 4.22, a Parking Ban has been declared and will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

  • Mountainview Drive from Mountainview Gate to Sandstone Drive
  • Sandstone Drive from Mountainview Drive to D’Arcy Boulevard

Thursday, April 30

  • Elma Street East from Veterans Way to Clark Avenue

A maintenance route parking ban is a temporary parking restriction on roads designated as maintenance routes. Parking bans allow crews to work on the roadways more efficiently when they don’t have to operate around parked cars. (Traffic Bylaw 37-24)

During the Parking Ban timeframe, all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road. While Parking Bans are in effect, the public are encouraged to use alternative routes wherever possible to ensure road crews can work efficiently and safely along that road.  All other services (ie. Waste Collection, Emergency Responders, Canada Post Delivery, etc) will not be impacted in locations where Parking Bans have been declared.
