Public Hearings & Bylaw Consultation

Public hearings provide an opportunity for members of the public to speak to Council on advertised planning and development matters and other matters as determined by Council. Some bylaws require a public hearing to be held, such as re-zoning bylaws (land use re-designations) and area structure plans.

Bylaw 15-26

The purpose of Bylaw 15-26 is to authorize the lending of money to the Okotoks Pickleball and Tennis Centre Society for the completion of the Okotoks Pickleball and Tennis Centre.

Feedback on Bylaw 15-26 can be provided to Legislative Affairs or Parks .

Council of the Town of Okotoks will consider adoption of Bylaw 15-26 at the July 13, 2026 Regular Council meeting unless a petition of the electors for a vote on Bylaw 15-26 is received as provided for in sections 219 through 226, and 231 of the Municipal Government Act.

Petitions must be received by the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2026 at 5 Elizabeth Street, Okotoks, Alberta. For further information please contact Parks
