Public Hearings & Bylaw Consultation

Public hearings provide an opportunity for members of the public to speak to Council on advertised planning and development matters and other matters as determined by Council. Some bylaws require a public hearing to be held, such as re-zoning bylaws (land use re-designations) and area structure plans.

A Public Hearing is scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Centre Council Chamber regarding Bylaw 20-26 - Land Use Bylaw Redesignation – Campground.

Bylaw 20-26

The purpose of Bylaw 20-26 is to amend Land Use Bylaw 17-21 by redesignating approximately 21.54 ha (53.19 ac) within Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 891 1194 from Natural Areas District to Recreation & Open Space District.
