Project Overview
The Transportation Master Plan is a long-term roadmap for keeping Okotoks safe, connected and easier to travel through as the community grows. The plan looks at how people move around town by vehicle, transit, walking, rolling and cycling. It identifies transportation improvements that may be needed over the next 25 years and beyond.
The plan looks at how people move around town by vehicle, transit, walking, rolling and cycling. Using current traffic data and growth projections, it identifies road, intersection and other transportation improvements that may be needed over the next 25 years and beyond.
Council accepted the updated plan as a planning tool on October13, 2026. This does not approve construction or set timelines for individual projects. Future improvements will be considered based on growth, traffic data, community needs, budgets, Council decisions and available funding. Click the button below to review the updated plan.
