Alberta became a province on September 1, 1905. In recognition of this anniversary and in celebration of our province’s unique spirit, culture and heritage, the Alberta Government has designated September 1 as Alberta Day.
Festivities start at 4 p.m. with face painting in the park and food trucks.
Kicking off the night at 6:30 will be Cool Runnings (1993)! Then, once the sun has started to set, we will show Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). Don’t forget to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks!
